BMW made a 400 unit special edition for the debut of the F90 M5. All examples are painted in individual Frozen Dark Red Metallic with an individual smoke white interior and an individual Piano Black wood trim with a "1/400" inscription right below the iDrive control knob. BMW called it the First Edition M5 and oddly enough they were produced Mid-2018 when production was already ongoing for a year.
