Porsche Chromaflair

Chromaflair paints are the most expensive paints offered by Porsche through their PTS programme at a cost of just under $ 100k or € 82k.
They consist of five paint layers with the top layer containing ultra fine pigments that let the color change quite drastically depending on light and viewing angle.

Due to the difficult and time consuming process required to paint these unique finishes, it's done externally from PAG and Porsche only allocates around 15 cars per year for the Chromaflair colors making it very rare to see one in the wild.

There are currently five different Chromaflair paints offered by Porsche.

Porsche is not the only manufacturer to offer this type of paint, for example Range Rover also offered it with Spectral Blue.
