Amethyst Black is a McLaren paint that first featured on the iconic P1 press car wearing the "P1 OOV" plate. The paint has since remained available and appeared on various other models.
It looks mostly black with a purple undertone due to its metallic flake. When hit by direct sunlight this metallic flake transforms the color into a more vibrant purple.
