British Racing Green

British Racing Green is perhaps one of the most iconic green paint colors. Its name goes back quite a few years and comes with an interesting backstory. In the early 1900s there were yearly international races hosted by the country that won the race the previous year. Every country could enter a couple of cars and to be able to differentiate them from one another every country had their 'own' racing color. And as you might've guessed the British painted theirs green. The British Racing Green we know today however isn't exactly the same color as back then since it changed in tone a few times going from a lighter olive green to a darker green.
