BMW's Gentian Blue is one of the rarer blue's on the Individual paint range. Visually it's pretty similar to Voodoo Blue (which comes from the Porsche paint palette) but a bit deeper and more saturated.
The paint is often referred to by its German name Enzianblau as Enzian Blue but the official English name is Gentian Blue.
It's not to be confused with Porsche's Gentian Blue, which came later and is a completely different and much darker shade of blue.
