Even though Grigio Ingrid is available from the standard paint range on the 812 GTS, we haven't seen all that many examples wear the color.
The actual name of the paint shown on the paint code sticker is Nuovo Grigio Ingrid which, as the name suggests, is the newer version of the original Grigio Ingrid paint that was named after Swedish actress Ingrid Bergman.
This new version leans ever so slightly more towards silver while the original had a more noticeable champagne / bronze tone. But altogether there isn't really that much of a difference between the two, just enough to warrant a change of the paint code.
Interestingly the configurator just shows Grigio Ingrid as the name of the paint, even Ferrari themselves got confused on this example as the paint code sticker under the hood reads Nuovo Grigio Ingrid, while the monroney shows the original Grigio Ingrid paint code.
