Sapphire Black
475saphirschwarz
While BMW now calls it Sapphire Black Metallic, the order used to be swapped around as this paint color was referred to as Black Sapphire Metallic for the E46 M3 CSL. The paint code and thus the paint remained the same.
Out of the 2 available paint options Black Sapphire was the lesser chosen one (reportedly 1/4th were painted black). It was only available for the CSL as the regular E46 M3 models had Jet Black on the option list.
