Shark Blue was a newly introduced color on the 992 GT3 where it was used as communication color for the car in 2021. As such it was quite a popular option from the standard range where it was available as one of four Special Colors (Sonderfarbe). Later it was also added to the standard range of other models in the 992 line up as well as the 718. The color was discontinued for the GT3 midway through 2024.
