This DBS Volante is a special commission by Aston Martin Newport Beach. They have worked closely together with Q to create this exclusive 1 of 1 specification, which comes as a pair since they also created the same DBS Superleggera.
Both are painted Spectral Blue, which is an $10,600 color shifting ChromaFlair paint option on the DBS Volante that's originally a Range Rover color. This unique paint is also found on various interior trims and the seat backs.
Interestingly, since the Volante has a soft top, it thus requires less paint and the special paint option is just under $ 8k less compared to the coupe.
